Low Fat Banana Yogurt Cake

recipeIngredient (used american measuring cup, 1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 4 overripe small bananas Or 2 big bananas with peel
  • 250 gms flour ( I used half wheat flour + half refined flour)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 t/s salt
  • 125 gms organic golden sugar Or golden sugar Or brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract Or essence
  • 150 ml yogurt
  • 100 gm chocochips
  • some candies
  • some orange peels chopped
How to make the recipe?
  1. Preheat oven at 180 °C exactly for ten mins before baking. Grease loaf pan Or muffin pans any shape you desire with oil.
  2. Sprinkle some flour over it tap the excess flour out. Sift both flour, salt and baking powder. Keep aside.
  3. Take a microwave vessel put the bananas with skin on. Microwave on high power for 3 to 4 mins Or until the banana becomes
  4. oozes out of the peels. Now gently ooze the bananas out discard the peels.
  5. Combine oil with organic golden sugar until light and fluffy.
  6. Add eggs and beat with a beater until all combined well.
  7. Fold in the sifted dry ingredients.
  8. Now add banana puree fold gently. Lastly add yogurt, peels, candies, vanilla essence and mix nicely.
  9. Pour the batter over the greased pans. Coat top with choco chips. Bake for 60 mins Or until the skewer comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool for 10 mins then gently unmould the cake.
