Orange Amla Basil Juice

recipeIngredient (used american measuring cup, 1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 2 oranges peeled, de-seeded and chopped into chunks
  • 2 to 3 amlas (indian gooseberry) de-seeded and chopped
  • ½ cup organic jaggery powder Or as sweet required
  • a pinch of black salt
  • 7 to 8 basil leaves
  • ½ cup water
  • few ice cubes (optional)
How to make the recipe?
  1. Combine oranges, amlas, jaggery, basil leaves, water and icecubes into juicer Or grinder.
  2. Grind until all blend well. If using grinder sieve the juice and discard the pulp.
  3. Serve juice in tall glasses with few basil leaves and icecubes. Sprinkle some black salt on top.
Notes
1. You could use parsley Or celery instead of basil leaves.
2. If jaggery powder isn't available use sugar.
