Rose Milk recipe which is easy, refreshing and a great summer coolant.
recipeIngredient (used american measuring cup, 1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 3 tbsp sweetened rose syrup of any good brand
  • 3 cups of chilled milk
  • few ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp basil seed soaked in 4 tbsp water
How to make the recipe?
  1. Firstly soak sabja seed in water for 20 mins or until they swell.
  2. Combine rose syrup with chilled milk into a vessel. Stir nicely and combine all well.
  3. Now add ice cubes to serving glasses and pour the rose milk leaving some space on the top.
  4. Finally add 1 tsbp of soaked sabja seed on the top. Repeat the same with the rest of glasses. Serve your Rose milk chilled and immediately.
Notes
1. If you dont want too much milk you could add water and milk into half and half.
2. The rose syrup is sweet so no sugar is required.
3. You could make your home-made rose syrup for this recipe. I have used a store bought rose syrup.
4. Additionally you could add a dollop of icecream but it's optional.
5. The rose milk has to be served chilled for best flavor and taste.
