Easy Beetroot Raita Recipe - a chilled, healthy raita made from beetroot, curd, chilies and spices.
recipeIngredient (used american measuring cup, 1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 200 gm chilled yogurt
  • 1 small beetroot or ¼th cup chopped beetroot (boiled and chopped finely)
  • 1-2 green chilies chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp chat masala
  • black salt as required
How to make the recipe?
  1. Combine chilled yogurt with chat masala and black salt.
  2. Whisk nicely and add chopped beetroot.
  3. Also, add green chiles mix all well.
  4. Serve your beetroot raita chilled.
Notes
1. You could add 1 tsp sugar however it's optional.
2. I have added chat masala if it's not available then add 1 tsp amchur powder and 1 tsp roasted cumin powder along some black salt.
3. I have used boiled beetroot you could use raw beetroot if you like.
