Sprouted Mung Bean

  • 150 Gms Sprouted Mung Or 1 bowl
  • 1 onion Chopped
  • 1 Green Chili Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric
  • ½ cup Fresh Grated Coconut
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp Oil
How to make the recipe?
  1. Firstly take sprouted mung bean. Keep it aside.
  2. Take a wok or vessel add oil. Once oil is hot saute chopped onion, green chily for a minute on low flame.
  3. Add turmeric and mix well.
  4. Now add sprouted mung bean with salt as per taste.
  5. Finally add Fresh grated coconut.
  6. Cover the wok with a metal plate with some water on it. You can see in the pic below.
  7. Let it boil for about 20 mins. Keep stirring and checking. Add 2 tbsp water if required. Once the mung bean cooks. Switch off the gas.
  8. Your Sprouted Mung Bean is ready.
  9. Serve hot with Chapatis, Naan, steamed rice.
  10. You could just eat plain like that as a side starter or a brunch.
