  • 200 gms Paneer cubes Or Chopped Paneer into rectangular shape
  • 1 Big Tomato Chopped
  • 1 Big Onion Chopped
  • 3 Green Chilies
  • 1 Inch Ginger Chopped
  • 7 to 8 Garlic Cloves
  • 3 to 4 strands of Coriander Leaves
  • 7 Cashew nuts
  • 3 tbsp Watermelon seeds (Magaj)
  • 3 tbsp White Sesame seeds (Til)
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp Cumin seed
  • 2 tbsp Kasoori Methi
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt as per taste
How to make the recipe?
  1. Onion Paste: Chop onion into medium size. Grind into the mixer until smooth. Keep This Onion Puree aside.
  2. Tomato Puree: Chop the tomato. Grind until smooth. Strain if required.
  3. Green paste: Grind chilies, garlic, ginger, 2 strands of Coriander leaves. Grind until smooth.
  4. Cashew Paste: Immerse cashew nuts, sesame seeds, melon seeds into water for about 10 to 15 mins. Now grind until uniform paste.
  5. For Gravy:
  6. Take a wok or vessel. Add oil wait until it is hot. Add bay leaf and cumin seeds.
  7. Once the cumin seeds is crackling add Onion Paste. Keep the gas on low flame. Also add green paste.
  8. Keep stirring them for about 3 mins until the mixture turns brownish color.
  9. Add the tomato puree. Combine all of them well.
  10. Let this gravy boil for another 2 mins. Now add Paneer cubes along with yogurt.
  11. Once the gravy starts bubbling add Cashew paste. Add salt as per taste. Also once Paneer and all the masalas are almost cooked add kasoori methi.
  12. The gravy should be ready in another 5 mins. Once Paneer is cooked the dish is ready.
  13. Serve Paneer Indian Recipe hot with Rotis Or Rice.
  14. Garnish with few coriander leaves and cashew nuts.
