recipeIngredient (used american measuring cup, 1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 100 gms Chowmein Noodles Or 1 cup
  • 4 to 5 small Marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract Or Essence
  • 3 heaped tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 75 gms Chopped Dark Chocolate
  • 2 tbsp Milk
How to make the recipe?
  1. Keep 4 muffins or desired mold ready.
  2. I have taken simple chow mien noodles. Take some oil and deep fried the noodles for about 5 to 7 mins on low flame. Once the noodles are nicely crisp and brown. Switch off the gas and keep them aside.
  3. Take a microwave bowl. Mix butter, milk, Chopped dark chocolate, marshmallows on high power for about a minute.
  4. Stir vigorously with a spoon until marsh mallows combine well. Now add vanilla extract or essence, cocoa powder. Mix all of them well.
  5. Finally, add the crispy fried chow mien noodles. Stir the noodles until evenly coated with the mixture.
  6. Rub some oil in your hands. Now Take this mixture and place them with your hand in the muffins. Make a small impression with your fingers in the center. Repeat the same process with the rest of mixture. Set them in the freezer for about 3 hours or until nice firm.
  7. Please use these nests just while serving them. Otherwise, the chocolate coated noodles might turn sticky. Sprinkle some colorful candies or desiccated coconut on the nests. Now place your easter eggs on these nests.
  8. Serve them to your kids or guests. I am sure they would love them!
Notes
1. I have used cocoa for brown color. You could use peanut butter for light brown color.
2. Even white chocolate will give nice white color to your nests.
3. These nests are edible so don't worry give them to your kids or guests it's fine.
4. You could also shape these marzipans into egg shapes of big sizes or keep them in egg mold. Freeze them until hard and dip them in chocolate coating. 5. Freeze these eggs again until chocolate solidifies and becomes solid. Your big easter eggs are ready.
