Thai Crab Cakes

October 18, 2013 by maria Leave a Comment

Yummy, delectable, delicious and very easy to make are these Thai Crab Cakes!

Crabs were sitting in my fridge so decided to make something tasty with them. I was bit confused to make the cakes in Indian Or Thai style. I had homemade red thai red curry paste home so instantly thought of making thai crab cakes. I checked on google there were so many versions so I decided to make my own version of thai crab cakes. To be honest it’s come out well and quite yummy. In short I have tried making thai crab cakes easy with no fuss of egg dips Or coating with breadcrumbs and all.

Thai Crab cakes

Along thai crab cakes I thought of making a unique dip. So I made a dip which is quite good goes well with crab cakes and rice both. I made burnt garlic rice, salami chili, crab cakes and dip today. I haven’t got a chance to click pics of the rest. So when I make them next will surely post them. Burnt garlic rice is one of my favorite rice in chinese restaurant.

I am waiting anxiously for my hubby to taste them all for dinner. I am sure he will love them as he also is fond of such food. This is my first attempt to make thai crab cakes. I love Thai and Chinese food after Indian food. So I just follow my gut and make them. I have tried thai egg curry, thai fried potatoes and red thai chicken curry. All these recipes are my favorite.

Thai Crab cakes

If you are a vegan Or vegetarian please don’t add crabs. I am sure even without crabs it would taste good. Coming back to crabs it gives a nice flavor to the cakes. The only crucial part is to boil the crabs and then remove the meat. Otherwise everything else is easy to make.

I have used all homemade ingredients except soy sauce and red chili sauce. As I love to make and utilize homemade ingredients rather than store ones. However to make all is not feasible so I buy also some 😉 I am in a mood to chat so won’t take much of your time else will go and on….
