Salted Chaas Recipe - Chaas or Buttermilk is an ancient Indian drink mostly have during the Summer season.
recipeIngredient (used american measuring cup, 1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 1 cup yogurt / curd (dahi)
  • 2-3 cup of water
  • 17-18 curry leaves
  • ½ inch ginger chopped finely
  • 6 - 7 ice cubes (optional)
  • black salt or salt as per taste
How to make the recipe?
  1. Combine yogurt and chilled water into the grinder.
  2. Add the ginger, curry leaves and salt.
  3. Grind for 30 secs or until they mix nicely.
  4. Add water if you like your buttermilk thinner.
  5. Serve your salted buttermilk chilled with your favorite food or snack.
Notes
1. You could use black salt or salt for this chaas recipe.
2. If you like your buttermilk thin then add more water.
