Banana Gelato Recipe

March 16, 2011 by maria 2 Comments

I am happy and so glad to share this Banana Gelato Recipe with all of you. Also this Banana Gelato Recipe is so simple to make. That too made only with 4 ingredients. So easy even a child will be able to make it. Already summer has kicked in India and it is getting hotter. I thought of making something refreshing to beat the heat out here. That is how I came up with the idea of Banana gelato. This Banana Gelato Recipe is soft, supple, rich, creamy and delicious.

Banana Gelato Recipe

As banana is easily available everywhere. Also bananas are great in summer. They are easy to digest also absorbed quickly by our body. I didn’t wanted to use an ice cream maker or some readymade powder for my Gelato. Hence used few ingredients and within 5 mins my Banana gelato was ready. I could also call it as Instant Banana gelato recipe lol.

Took more 2 hours for firming. I didn’t wanted plain banana flavor so I thought of using Rose petals. Rose petals are great to have in summer. Also it would give my Gelato a nice baby pink color + nutritive value.

I have used full cream so weight watchers can just grab a small bite. I can guarantee your gelato would be soft and creamy. Your kids and family would just go gaga over them!

Tip:

  1. You could top gelato with few almonds before freezing them.
  2. Be careful while adding sugar as Bananas are already sweet.
  3. Vegans could try this with coconut cream. I am sure coconut would take your gelato to some other level.
