All this while I wanted to make an eggless cheesecake that too with white chocolate. There are lot of dark chocolate cheese cake recipes. Hence I wanted to try with white chocolate. I have done alot of research however most of the recipes for eggless cheesecakes consists of eggs. If you want eggless you got to replace eggs with sour cream or whipped cream. This makes the cake all the more fattening as already cheese content is high. I smartly replaced egg with flaxseeds. With flaxseeds the nutrition value of cake has gone higher. Eggless Chocolate Cheesecake – White Chocolate Cheesecake is a moist and soft cake.
The texture of this Eggless Chocolate Cheesecake – White Chocolate Cheesecake is similar to a pudding. You could bake directly or bake this eggless cake in water bath. The taste is amazing and I am glad haven’t used eggs. I had some guests at my place. I served this Eggless Chocolate Cheesecake with hersheys chocolate syrup and some shavings of dark chocolate. They really liked it as the cake was chilled. One of them thought he is eating Icecream 🙂 lol.
My family also loved it. The texture is quite different from a normal cake. If you wish you could use eggs for this recipe. I wouldn’t know how the cake will turn if you use tofu. I haven’t tried vegan cheesecake as yet. Since I have raised this doubt I am sure I will try a vegan cheesecake sooner or later.
Its quite simple to make. There is not much fuss even a starter can make this cake easily. I will give you step by step guidance. Don’t worry this cake will turn out to be great.
Hmmm what say lets move to the recipe!
Total Time: 1 hour
Serves: 7 to 8 people
- 1 cup Digestive Biscuits crumbs Or Vanilla Wafer crumbs
- 3 to 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp Icing Sugar
- 200 gms Cream Cheese (Any Good Brand would do)
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp Sweetened Milk
- 4 to 5 tbsp Refined Flour or Wheat Flour or All Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract Or Vanilla Essence
- 3 tbsp Flaxseed Or 3 Eggs
Flaxseed Paste: Please note if you are using flaxseed you would require 9 tbsp water. Grind flaxseed with water to form a smooth paste.
If you are using eggs omit water.
Take a greased pan of any shape. Put the biscuit or wafer crumbs on the bottom. Mix butter and sugar. Bake at 150°C for about 7 mins. You could use glazed cherries and dryfuits for garnishing while baking the crust.
Sieve flour, sugar and keep aside.
Melt white chocolate in a microwave bowl Or double boiling. Just ensure the chocolate doesn’t stick to the bottom.
Combine cream cheese, condensed milk. Beat with a stand mixer or beater. The mixture will be soft and smooth.
Now add flaxseed paste slowly little by little. Again beat well. Once the mixture is incorporated well. Add slowly the dry ingredients. Beat on a low speed with the beater or with a spoon. Its time to add Vanilla Extract or Vanilla Essence.
Pour the Batter over the crust. Bake at 200°C for about 10 mins. Than decrease the temperature to 130°C. Bake for about 40 mins in water bath.
The cake will become brown from top. The edges would be slightly firm.
Let the cake cool down. Refrigerate this cake overnight or for about 3 hours. Serve chilled with Icecream Or Hot Chocolate Sauce.

- If you are using eggs. Ensure you beat them separately until fluffy and than add into dry ingredients.
- You could make dark chocolate cheesecake with the same instructions. Just replace white chocolate with dark chocolate.
- When you are beating the cake batter you can keep warm water simmering under the batter. This will help you to easily beat the cake batter. Ensure water doesn’t drip into cake batter.
