Indian Flat Beans Recipe

Today’s Indian Flat Beans recipe is of my mom’s. It’s mild spiced and tastes yum. While you picking broad beans ensure it’s tender, green and fresh. If it’s slightly discolored please don’t buy them. As worms live in some beans so ensure you buy them right.

Once you wash the broad beans under running water. Remove the edges from top and bottom. Also remove their threads from both sides. Now chop them into equal pieces. Now you are ready to use them. Papdi is great for health. So good to have once in a week.

First time I am making this vegetable for my hubby. Obviously since we are newly wed. Many things cooked by me would be for the first time for him 😉 ……………… I just hope he likes it? anyways he has lot other options today than eating them. I have also cooked pasta in red and white sauce along with Mumbai Masala Toast Sandwich. Guess he has a lot of options to choose today 🙂 I will soon update all of you with all these recipes.
