This is an extraordinary recipe. Can take a while to prepare all the spices – but it’s well worth the effort. Came across it by chance, googling for ways to make chicken curry in a pressure cooker. Have cooked it three times now for friends – and it’s mind-blowing every time. Thank you for sharing it.

It came out good Maria and got 5 stars from hubby and kids. Just that I ground the tomatoes with the green paste as it fries faster and gives a good consistency to the curry. Thanks Maria for a good one and keep them coming.

Yes Connie one whole star anise spice. Sweet spice looks similar to black pepper it’s got a small thorn coming out of it. It gives a great flavor to curries and biryanis. If it’s not available just skip it. Have mailed you too! Do keep me posted how was your curry?

Thanks Anup sweet spice is also called as All spice which is a Jamaican pepper you could discard them if it’s not available. For more info on All spice click here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allspice. Also all spice resembles black pepper but it’s mild in taste hence also known as sweet spice. Hope this helps you and do keep me posted 🙂
