recipeIngredient (used american measuring cup, 1 cup = 250 ml)
  • 100 gms Jeera (cumin seeds)
  • a pinch of salt
How to make the recipe?
  1. Take a wide pan spread cumin seed on it. Place it on low heat. Roast for 2 to 3 mins.
  2. Now grind the roasted cumin seeds until fine powder is formed. Your Jeera Powder Recipe is ready. Store them in an airtight container Or bottle.

    Hi, Nice to browse through your blog. I too love the homemade curry powder and do make them often. Just wanted to know the purpose of adding salt when powdering the spices. Is it for taste or preserving?
