Here comes my 3rd recipe on Raspberry known as Raspberry Gelato. Delicious, light and refreshing treat this summer. Please try this Raspberry Gelato Recipe. The raspberry gelato gives nice mauve color. Once its frozen the color changes to brown. This Raspberry Gelato Recipe is easy to make.
I am planning to get more raspberries and try different kind of Raspberry Gelato. I was truly impressed with Raspberry Cake and Raspberry smoothie. Anything made of raspberry is just heavenly.
Today I am falling short of words while writing. Wonder why? All I can say is eat raspberry, drink raspberry, be happy with raspberries 🙂
Yes one more thing. No ice cream maker or any sort of complications are required for this Raspberry Gelato Recipe.
Total Time: 35 mins for preparation and about 2 hours to refrigerate.
Serves: 10 People unless all are dessert lover

- Butter Scotch Nuts (Optional)
Take Raspberries, Canned Pineapples, Raisins, Dry Figs along with Pineapple Syrup. Combine them in a small pan. Add about 2 tbsp Sugar. Heat this pan on a low flame covered for about 5 mins. Once they all blend well and the fruits are fluffy. Switch off the gas. Let the mixture cool down.
Now combine them in a grinder. Add Orange rind to it. Blend all this in a blender. Until a smooth puree is formed. Keep it aside.
Get a medium sized Wok Or vessel. Add milk to it. Keep the gas on low flame. Add sweetened milk and sugar. Keep stirring the milk.
Take corn flour with 2 tbsp water. Stir them well. Add this corn flour paste to the boiling milk gently.
Also combine custard with water to form a smooth paste. Pour this mixture too in the milk.
Keep stirring the milk. The milk will start cuddling. When it starts thickening add chopped dryfruits to it. This process should take about 20 to 25 mins.
Now keep this thick milk aside. Once the milk cools down. Mix Raspberry Puree into it. Incorporate all of them well with help of Spoon Or Spatula.
Pour this batter into the mould. Top the gelato with few Butterscotch.
Refrigerate until gelato is firm. Shouldn’t take more than 2 hours for firming.
Once it is firm your Raspberry Gelato is ready. Serve with fruits. You could also garnish your gelato with choco chips, almonds and some chocolate syrup. Try this yum Raspberry Gelato with cake or Smoothie.
- You could make same gelato with the same instructions with any of your favorite fruit.
- Also add cream if you want your gelato to be more creamier.
- It is important to keep stirring while you boiling milk along with custard and corn flour. Otherwise the milk will stick at the bottom giving a burnt flavor and burnt color to your gelato.
Enjoy your Raspberry Gelato!
