Sweet Potatoes Patties, How to make Sweet Potatoes Patties | Ratalu Patties

October 18, 2016 by maria 2 Comments

The Sweet Potatoes Patties tasted yum and I fried them in 2 different ways with the same batter. Sweet Potatoes Patties turned out delicious, crispy from out, soft within and got over so soon. Sweet Potatoes were lying in my fridge for a long time. Sweet Potatoes  are known as ratalu Or ratali in India. Apart from boiling Sweet Potatoes I didn’t know what to do with the Sweet Potatoes so I thought of making Sweet Potatoes Patties with them.

I am thankful to everyone for their support and love. Special thankyou for people who voted me for the recipe contest held at Food Frenzy for month of Jan 2011. It gives a great feeling and motivation to work more 🙂

I had made sprouted mung bean with rice. So just for adding a bit of flavor and starters I made the Sweet Potatoes Patties. My hubby loved them he only ate most of it 🙂 …… I am sure you guys would agree when you make some dish and your family eats them and it gets over. We all like that right?

3. Take rice flour on a plate. Roll these balls on both sides with rice flour. I also rolled the mixture into kebab shape. Later rolled them on semolina. You can do both ways if you wish. Take a non stick pan for shallow fry. Add little oil spread all over. Once oil is hot place these balls on them. Fry them until golden brown from both sides.
