I have used Ching’s chow mien noodles which are easily available in India. You could use the same brand or any other brand. You can make these beautiful nests from cornflakes, flaked coconut, crunchy muesli. It is up to you however I love the shape of noodles and they exactly look like a birds nest.

This Easter Egg Nest is made with few ingredients. Generally, all these would be there stocked in your kitchen especially now as Easter is close by. Guess what I have really fallen in love with these beautiful nests. I am gonna try making next time easter egg nests with different products and play with nests colors. Quite challenging and I love food challenges but at home not in a competition.

Also, a lot of food colors are used to make these easter egg nests. I didn’t want to use any food colors for my nests. Hence, I have used cocoa powder to make it dark brown. You could use beetroot color or any vegetable which will give you the required color you want. Reason being mostly easter eggs are consumed by children so avoid anything which has the chemical. Have a happy and safe easter.

5. Please use these nests just while serving them. Otherwise, the chocolate coated noodles might turn sticky. Sprinkle some colorful candies or desiccated coconut on the nests. Now place your easter eggs on these nests. Serve them to your kids or guests. I am sure they would love them!
