Easy Eggless Apple Cake or danish apple cake recipe. This cake is soft, nice texture, flavor of apple and cinnamon and also some walnuts. It’s a simple cake recipe made without eggs and butter yet a great dessert.
In my house it’s mostly banana cakes in-fact we wait for bananas to over-ripe for baking cakes 😉 but today I made an apple cake which was also relished by my hubby and his office mates.
I have used condensed milk instead of sugar. The basic ingredients which goes in making a danish pastry are wheat flour, condensed milk, milk and apples. However I have added walnuts, milk powder and cornmeal too.
You could make this cake with any fruit like banana, mango or even chocolate. If you eat eggs then add eggs if you wish to add. Adding nuts are optional to the cake but they give a nice nutty flavor.
Let’s make eggless apple cake recipe stepwise:
1. Firstly peel the apple, peel and chop into small cubes.
2. Sift flour, corn meal, cinnamon powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and milk powder.
3. Into another bowl combine condensed milk and oil.
4. Mix well then fold sifted dry ingredients gradually.
5. If the mixture is too dry then add little milk. Pour the batter half into the greased loaf pan.
6. Spread some apple cubes and cover with the rest of batter. Top with rest of apples and also spread walnuts. Sprinkle the cinnamon powder and sugar all over the top of cake.
7. Preheat the oven for 15 mins before baking at 180ºC. Bake for 35-40 mins or until the skewer comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool on a rack then unmould gently. Serve your eggless apple cake warm or chilled with a dollop of icecream.

Gurpal says
Hi, is there anything you could replace the condensed milk with? My sister is lactose intolerant, so I substitute out the dairy products with their equivalents, and the cakes come out great! 🙂
maria says
Firstly I apologize for the delay in reply. Gurpal you can use almond milk instead of condensed milk but just check the quantity of sugar in the almond milk and add accordingly to the cake. Hope this information helps you, thanks.
