I had been to D-Mart for grocery shopping with my mom. My eyes fell on the pizza dough available there didn’t even give a single thought just picked the dough, thought instantly to make Pizzas for Lunch something different than the usual boring food. I picked up some exotic vegetables like White Button Mushrooms, Broccoli for my toppings on Mushroom Pizza with Broccoli Recipe. Mushroom Pizza with Broccoli is quite healthy, tasty and rich with amino acids, proteins and carbohydrates.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by Pizzas when I used to eat them in restaurants or some fast food joint…………… I am sure you too like Pizzas that too with your favourite toppings be it vegan, vegterian or non vegeterian Pizzas will be Pizzas lols 🙂
There are many outlets for Pizzas but my personal favorite is Smokin’Joe’s Pizza and Garlic Bread from Yana Sizzlers and Wok also sometimes from Pizza Hut. I somehow binge on pizzas atleast once in 3 months which is a good frequency for a born eater like me. I love to make Pizzas and serve at home rather than eat from outside because the toppings or vegetables in the ordered Pizza aren’t your favorite. I just hate capsicums sorry capsicum lovers this is one vegetable i just can’t bear in pizza, sandwiches or any part of my food. Therefore i love to make Pizzas at home.
I did one mistake instead of adding Mozarella Cheese as it was freezing cold so I used Amul cheese cubes for my Pizza. The Amul Cheese didn’t melt instead it got crispy. Though I quite liked the crispy cheese taste but its upto you to use Mozarella or Amul Cheese lols!
I really don’t have the time to make Pizza Dough to make home as I am impatient and by the time the Pizza dough gets ready I will starve to death!. Not that I am discouraging you please go ahead and have fun while making Pizza Dough. I always purchase readymade Pizza Dough and keep changing my vegetable toppings.
Anyways today I am gonna talk about Mushroom Pizza with Broccoli.
Preparation Time: 20 to 25 mins
Serves – 3 to 4 People
Ingredients:
- 2 Ready made Pizza Dough OR Home Made Pizza Dough
- 1 White Button Mushroom Packet
- 1 Carrot finely chopped
- 100 gms Broccoli
- 3/4 strands of Coriander leaves Or Herbs
- 4 tbsp Chopped Garlic
- 2 tbsp Black Pepper Powder
- 2 tbsp Tomato Sauce
- 2 tbsp Butter Or Olive Oil
- 1 Chilly (optional)
- 2 Cheese cubes ( you can use more if you love cheese)
- Salt as per Taste
Method:
First step- When you buy readymade dough ensure you check the expiry date before buying them. You get mainly 2 kind of Pizza Dough one is the white plain dough and the other is made of wheat hence Brown dough.
Now take the dough and just do a slight incision with knife both horizontally and verically. Â Apply butter on it and cover all sides.
Now pour tomato sauce I used Maggi Chatpatta Sauce.
Apply sauce on all sides of the dough.
Take a small pan add 2 tbsp Olive oil or butter ( I used olive Oil) add chopped garlic, coriander leaves, chilly and stir for a minute on low gas
Add broccoli, carrots and stir for 3 mins .
Now add chopped Mushrooms and saute until the water of mushrooms dries out completely otherwise Pizza will be soggy one.
Take the mushroom mixture and pat them on the sauced pizza dough. Cover well and evenly with the help of Spatula . Now sprinkle ground black pepper and a pinch of salt.
Grate cheese and put on the pizza.
Repeat the above procedure with the other Pizza dough as well and Bake it till Golden brown.
Now keep your  Mushroom Pizza with Broccoli on a convection mode in your oven on a medium mode for 20 mins. My oven has a programmed mode for pizzas so I kept on that mode but you can keep on the pure convection mode.
Believe me your Pizza will be delicious and crispy.
Once its nicely baked remove from oven and cut into desired shapes and serve hot with tomato Or chilly sauce.
Tip:
- Use Pizza cheese or Mozarella cheese for your pizza
- Always use fresh toppings
- Its better you use convection mode on your oven for crispy crust with soft center in your Pizza.
