Lychee Iced Tea (step by step)

June 2, 2020 by maria Leave a Comment

Light, Cool and Fresh Lychee Iced Tea recipe to drink this summer! This iced tea is made from fresh lychees but you could use canned lychees instead. We love the combination of fruits with iced tea as it’s more nutritive and also better flavor. So don’t wait make your own fruit flavored iced tea.

Lychee Iced Tea (step by step)

Sometimes lychee could be tangy and not sweet. So you would have to add sugar accordingly. For the base I have used lemon iced tea. Just added homemade lychee syrup towards the end. But to be honest the flavor coming from the fruit and lime just creates some magic. I am in love with this drink 🙂

It’s so hot here that at times I skip my lunch at times. Then replace lunches with light snack, juice, shakes, butter milk or just eat fruits. Hence I am posting more beverages as it’s important to keep your body hydrated during this season.

You could make this iced tea and store in the fridge. But I bet it won’t last long 😉 I had made this yesterday and it’s over. You could blame me as I had most of it and some parts gave to hubby. Just don’t want to express anything as you have the drink yourself to experience and express it!

Some decorative tips for any drink or beverages. Add loads of ice, some decorative sippers or straws, cherries, sliced fruits, lime wedges, mint leaves etc. Hope these tips help you in making a presentable drink at home or when you have guests.

6. Now take tall glasses add loads of ice. Pour iced tea almost full in the glass leaving some space for lychee juice. Add 2tbsp of lychee juice. Stir the iced tea and serve your lychee iced tea chilled. Alternatively you could mix lychee juice with the lemon iced tea mixture and serve directly. If the syrup is sweet then add some water to dilute.
