Easy Eggless Jam Filled Cookies Recipe – for the occasion of valentines day! To make them special have given a heart shape so it symbolizes love. A valentine could be anyone your best friend, brother, sister, loved ones any one who is special and close to you. The outer texture is crispy and interior is soft with the bursting flavor of strawberry jam. They look difficult but they are easy to make all you need is patience and will to make an attempt 🙂
For this recipe I have used strawberry jam you could use any fruit jam. While filling the jam just ensure it’s at room temperature or warm in microwave then add. Also I have given heart shape with the help of a cookie cutter but you could give any shapes you like. You could give round shape, leaf shape, oval shape, square shape or any shape.
You would have to make even number cookies. If you are making 20 cookies then 1o should be with holes and rest of ten should be without. The holes could be shaped through a cookie cutter or with a thick toothpick or a straw. I made holes with straws by greasing the bottom a bit.
Also I have used white butter for this cookie. You could use normal butter or ghee (clarified butter). If you are a vegan then you could use vegan butter or oil. Further I have chilled the dough for 10 mins in the freezer. Then shaped and baked them.
