How to make Karela Fries (Quick & Easy)

Bitter gourd fries is a good option for fussy eaters. When karela is fried the bitterness reduces and they taste crisp. Many recipes of karela people make use of lime, vinegar etc to reduce the bitter taste of bitter gourd. There are many ways to fry karela. But this is my mother’s recipe which uses merely 2 ingredients yet flavorful and tasty. We have only used black pepper powder and salt for karela fries.

Everyone should include karela in their diet. Bitter gourd has some great health benefits. It’s known to curb diabetes, clean stomach, purifies body also cures respiratory disorders.

How would you select bitter gourd? When you buy them from market ensure they are tender, green in color and not very big in size. These tips have always helped me in selecting good bitter gourd.
