Paneer Toast Sandwich Recipe – How to make Paneer Toast Sandwich

Here comes my hot favourite food sandwiches, delicious Paneer Toast Sandwich Recipe. Toast Sandwiches are hygienic and healthy any time during the year when it”s homemade or from outside. Even if you eat from a nukad stall a toast sandwich is heated evenly and nicely hence bacterias die so its safe to eat.You can make en number of sandwiches with different kind of veggies and toppings. You can use your own favourite veggies and toppings and make custom sized sandwiches as per your preference! lol.

Buttery or cheesy sandwiches just melts in your mouth when eaten hot. You can make sandwiches in OTG, Electric Toaster or Grill or you can toast bread on a pan than add toppings on them and eat them.

In Mumbai there are series of fast food joints specializing only in sandwiches like Mumbai Masala Toast, Veg Toast Sandwich, Veg Toast Sandwich with Cheese , Grilled Sandwich, Club Sandwich, Chocolate Sandwich, Paneer Toast Sandwich…….. The list goes on and on.

The Paneer Toast Sandwich  consists of my favorite toppings and extremely delicious at the same time healthy for your body.

Lets start making Paneer Veg Toast Sandwich step by step:

 1. Keep everything handy.

2. Firstly take boiled corn and shred / cut with a knife from the husk.

3. Boil the peas until cooked and keep aside.

4. Take Paneer and grate them.

5. Take a small Pan add Olive Oil or Butter. Firstly add chopped garlic and green chillies. Now put onions once onion becomes light pink in color, then add peas,corn and paneer to it .

6. Saute all the vegetables well. Now add Kasuri methi and sprinkle some salt to it. Stir for 2 to 3 mins on medium fire now turn off the gas.

7. Take 2 slice of bread pat butter on both sides place the vegetable on the bread and spread evenly.

8.  Now grate cheese on it than cover with the other bread. I haven’t added cheese but you can add for more taste. Repeat the same procedure with other 2 bread .

9. Keep both the sandwiches to toast or grill on an electric sandwich maker until golden brown and crisp roughly about 10 mins on medium mode. Slice the Toasted Paneer Sandwich and serve the paneer toast sandwich hot with chutney and sauce.

 10. You can have them for breakfast or snacks ideal food to eat any time during the day. If you don’t have an electric toaster or grill there is nothing to worry about. As you can toast the bread seperately and make the vegetable mixture on another pan . Now add the mixture on the toasted buttered bread and top with cheese . Hooray your sandwich is ready !

recipeIngredient (used american measuring cup, 1 cup = 250 ml)
  • • ¼ cup Boiled Corn
  • • 6 cubes of Paneer (Cottage Cheese)
  • • ¼ cup Boiled Matar (Peas)
  • • 1 tbsp Kasoori Methi (Dried Fenugreek leaves)
  • • 8 to 9 Pods pf Garlic chopped
  • • 1 small sized Onion
  • • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • • 2 cubes Cheese optional
  • • 1 tbsp Olive oil/ Butter
  • • Grated Cheese (optional)
How to make the recipe?
  1. Boil peas and sweet corn seperately.
  2. Take Paneer and grate them.

Notes
1. You can make this mixture and keep them in the fridge for 2 to 3 days just slightly warm them before making the sandwich.
2. You could also choose mushrooms, mashed potatoes, carrots or any vegetable and add to this sandwich.
3. Instead of chillies you can use Black Pepper or Grated Ginger.
4. If using cheese just top over the filling and toast it.

      Hi Sonal it’s a paneer toast sandwich if you wish you could make a jain toast sandwich by skipping ginger and garlic.
