Prawn Cutlet Recipe – prepared with prawn or shrimp, boiled potatoes, spices, herb’s and breadcrumbs. This is a delicious finger food and could be made at any cocktail parties, as a starter or a side dish for any occasion. All you need is boiled, mashed potatoes and you are all set to make the recipe.
I have used big sized prawns but you could use even shrimps for this dish. Also, there is no need to cook prawns as they cook fast so just use them raw in cutlets, fry them and they would cook perfectly.
To be honest, this cutlet was appreciated my by friend’s and family 🙂 it got over also so soon. I generally make a variety of cutlets and tikkis quite often at home. You could also make them in advance then freeze, before making thaw them and fry.
For binding, the cutlets have used potatoes, bread crumbs and soaked bread. Then coated with bread crumbs and shallow fried. I have used herbs like coriander leaves and mint leaves.
I have shaped them round shape like a tikki but you could shape them into a log or oval shape. You could even use a mold to shape the cutlet leave up to you.
